Swapnil is a seasoned biopharmaceutical executive with nearly 30 years of experience in the industry, encompassing commercial GMP production, project design, and quality assurance. Swapnil has demonstrated strong leadership capabilities and is adept at managing and motivating multidisciplinary and multicultural teams to achieve organizational objectives. His extensive experience spans from the early stages of biopharmaceutical development to large-scale commercial manufacturing, with a proven track record in ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence. He spearheaded the setup of biopharmaceutical manufacturing plants from greenfield stages to commercial operations, contributing to the successful commercialization of more than 10 biological products. He holds an MSc and is a certified quality auditor.
LEAD - OPERATION & PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Chandra brings over 8 years of experience managing teams and projects in genetics and molecular biology. She has a true passion for science and a commitment to ensuring the smooth execution of projects through the management of cross-functional teams. She has honed her skills through her various roles as a research scientist, research coordinator, sales associate, and entrepreneur. Chandra has managed teams and interactions with commercial and government stakeholders in post-doctoral positions. At Entos, Chandra is responsible for project and alliance management activities, streamlined operations, integrating new initiatives, and implementing practices to drive continuous improvement. She is also the liaison between the business and science teams to move current and potential collaborations forward. Chandra holds a Ph.D. in Plant Biology from the University of Alberta, Canada.
LEAD SCIENTIST - MOLECULAR & CELL BIOLOGY
Prakash is a scientist with over 10 years of experience in academic and industrial preclinical molecular biology and cell biology research. He began his career as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix Arizona followed by nearly two years as a Scientist with NanoSpeed Diagnostics Inc. Prakash joined Entos soon after its inception in 2017. With Entos, he has progressed from Research Scientist to Lead Scientist –Molecular cell biology and leads the pre-clinical in vivo research team. he is also integral part of GMP manufacturing and formulation development team at Entos Pharmaceuticals. He obtained a PhD in Virogenomics, from the Indian Institute of Science, India.
LEAD SCIENTIST – CHEMISTRY & PROCESS DEVELOPMENT
Jitendra Kumar is a structural biologist with over 15 years of experience in academia and industry. He has worked on proteins involved in neurodegenerative diseases and cancer. His research applied various biophysical methods to study protein-protein and protein-ligand interactions additionally involved in structure guided drug design, lead optimization, protein production, and characterization. At Entos, Jitendra leads the chemistry and process development team, working on Lipids and FAST protein production and development. Jitendra holds a doctoral degree in Chemistry from Goethe University, Frankfurt am Main with the International Max Planck Research School. Jitendra was trained at The Institute of Fundamental Research in Mumbai, Central Drug Research Institute Lucknow, Biomolecular Magnetic Resonance Centre Frankfurt, Centre for Prions and Protein Folding Diseases in Edmonton, and National High Field Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Centre, University of Alberta Edmonton.
LEAD SCIENTIST – FORMULATIONS & PROCESS CONTROL
Ping Wee is a Lead Scientist at Entos Pharmaceuticals, where he has played a key role in developing the Fusogenix Platform through roles in formulation R&D, QC/process control, scale-up, and GMP production. Ping currently leads the Formulations team at Entos, dedicated on advancing the Fusogenix platform to create innovative therapies aimed at curing diseases. His experience also spans regulatory affairs at Health Canada, clinical trials, and sales at Cytiva. Ping received his Ph.D. in Medical Genetics from the University of Alberta, with expertise in endocytosis, signal transduction, and oncology.
LEAD – COMMUNICATIONS & SCIENCE WRITER
Perrin Beatty has over 20 years of experience in biological and life sciences as a researcher, academic instructor, team leader, science writer, and communications expert. Her research spanned antifungal-antibiotic characterization, breast cancer diagnosis, DNA transformation, and nitrogen use efficient crop development. Perrin has (co) -authored 80+ peer-reviewed articles, team-wrote 30+ grant proposals, 20+ articles for scientific and general magazines, 10 patents, and countless lecture plans! Perrin strives to foster a love for scientific curiosity wherever she goes. She is dedicated to continuously honing her communication skills to produce clear and engaging scientific writing. Perrin received her PhD in Biotechnology from the University of Alberta.
